Dorset is bursting at the seams with talented food producers and chefs. Be sure to pick up a copy of the new Dorset Food & Arts Festival recipe book.
The book costs £5 and is available to buy from the Information stand and Celebrating Poundbury stand. This collection of recipes is a tribute to our committee member and festival founder Jo Yeatman or “our lovely Jo,” as we remember her.
The recipes have been contributed by many who loved Jo and miss her – Dorset’s top chefs who have demonstrated in the Dorset Farmers’ Market kitchen, the festival’s patrons and committee members and many of the food and drink producers.
The recipes focus on Dorset produce as far as possible and they range from spectacular chef’s creations to straightforward family favourites. Each one has been chosen to represent the interests and produce of the writer.
The proceeds will go directly to the Dorset Farmers’ markets to continue Jo’s legacy for years to come.
We hope you enjoy cooking our recipes and that you will continue to support Dorset’s food and drink producers, Dorset Farmers’ Markets and the Dorset Food & Arts Festival.
Many thanks to The Duchy of Cornwall for funding the recipe book.
